This is a hand-built series utilising the natural colours of the clay body and textures that emerge from my technique of working the clay for particular, delicious and desirable surface textures. These textures are then highlighted using oxides. Porcelain surfaces are polished to enhance the smooth qualities amidst the cracking and distress.
