Make Good Choices series
In my early days in my studio I was working at the Mission to Seafarers Victoria as Fundraising and Marketing Manager. Amongst my projects was the administration of the Maritime Art Prize, which I enjoyed. In that role, I was required to cold call CEO’s of major shipping companies seeking sponsorship for our prizes. On my desk, there was a little rubber stamp that said ‘Make Good Choices’ I asked the boss if I could keep it and still have it today. It inspired me to create the works pictured below. These small sculptures conjure a vision, ‘after the Anthropocene’, when humanity is no longer, and the planet has begun consuming the remnants of the industrial wasteland that contributed to humanity's decline.
Earth will endure.
