Creative Producer with CLIMARTE presenting Sharon Field: The Scrolls, 3000 days and counting….

In 2024, I worked with CLIMARTE as Creative Producer on a special international tour launch of Sharon Fields' incredible project, The Scrolls, 3000 days and counting... as part of Melbourne Fringe Festival 2024. Starting on Earth Hour Day (26 March) in 2022, with a commitment to continue until Earth Day in 2030, award-winning botanical artist Sharon Field is drawing and painting a species directly onto her Scrolls every day, to “tell a story with a lasting visual impact”. The Scrolls were presented at The Store, Abbotsford Convent, accompanied by CLIMARTE's Poster Project III: A Call To Art (2022) street poster collection, The Climate Quilt, and a specially commissioned Timeline Trilogy artwork made from handmade paper, that I created especially for the event.

At the Launch I hosted a critical public panel discussion about what best practice Climate Emergency policy development looks like, and the role artists can play in mobilising communities to demand effective action. Panellists included the artist, Sharon Field, CLIMARTE Chair, Deb Hart, and Samantha Green, a key architect of the City of Yarra’s globally leading Climate Emergency Plan 2024-2030.
